Google Forms

Google Forms is a free online tool that simplifies the process of creating online forms, surveys, and saving the information submitted. Google Forms can be used to gauge student comprehension at the beginning and end of a class or a semester, to receive feedback from students or for collaborators outside the classroom, or to collect data for student research projects.

Why Use Google Forms?

  • Google forms allow us to include different types of questions such as short answers, paragraphs, multiple selection, verification boxes, pull-down, linear scale, grid of several options, among others
  • Quickly create questionnaires, surveys or forms with drag and drop features
  • Information goes directly into Google Sheets which can be exported to Excel or visualized within Google Forms

How to Add Google Forms to Your Course

Google Forms can either be emailed or embedded within a website, course blog, Blackboard, or Canvas.
