There are several technology-enhanced classrooms on campus:
The McGraw Center has an experimental Teaching Lab that can be reserved for occasional use:
- Frist 330; capacity 49; (reservation through the McGraw Center for Teaching and Learning)
The McGraw Center also administers two spaces that can be reserved for an entire semester:
- East Pyne 012, capacity 13 – 26 (13 computer work stations, which can be used by pairs of students — reservation through the McGraw Center.)
- The McGraw Digital Learning Lab (formerly the New Media Center), capacity 30; (reservation through the McGraw Center)
Other active learning spaces can be requested and reserved through the Office of the registrar. There are, for instance rooms in Frist that are adapted for active learning:
Frist 307, capacity 48.
Frist 309 (shown in the above video), capacity 28.
The Office of the Registrar has recently launched a new tool to find classrooms with the features that best suit teaching needs. This resource allows searching for room on campus with particular features, for example flat floors, or technologies, for example, an interactive white board.
